Today was such an amazing turn out for the RCSD Elementary Tech Leaders EdCamp. Twenty-one schools were represented by Tech Leaders who shared their innovative digital projects. It was impressive to see such a variety of projects for a variety of grade levels. Projects which demonstrates how digital tools can help to extend curricular outcomes and engage students with diverse interests and strengths. As had been discussed at the initial Tech Leaders PD session, the focus of technology in the schools was that it was to be a vehicle for curricular outcomes. As demonstrated with the TPACK model (which stands for Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge), our focus has been with how we can effectively integrate technology into instruction and lesson planning, with a strong focus on pedagogy and content. Please check out a few of the projects that teachers have shared on the Engaging Integration Ideas page.
